G'Day from the Top End of Australia!

Darwin, a tropical paradise where you feel like you're on holidays every day of the year. It's always warm, the sun shines bright and the days feel like they go on forever.

As the days rolled on, I was sitting at home wondering what I should do with all of my teaching resources. Over eighteen years, I've accumulated boxes and boxes of teaching 'stuff' and now it sits unused in the garage.

You see, I've had to takes some leave to focus on my health and wellbeing. I was beginning to feel overwhelmed with the growing amount of paperwork and documented evidence expected.

For any level of support the children in my class required, it felt like an unachievable task. Even as an experienced teacher, the children weren't getting

the best teacher. They were getting an overworked and exhausted teacher. Something needed to change. I needed to prioritise my plans, persist with challenges and try very hard to stay positive! I created the following template in Canva, so I could plan my weeks more efficiently.

Some say "you're never too old to learn something new". So here I am.

Sharing my journey as I work in the Education community, as a classroom teacher.

So this has lead me to my days sorting through the 'stuff', to give away, recycle, sell or keep. But, I really may need that art resource, the one that I haven't used in years, I really will need it one day!

My husband also needs the space in the garage for his newly purchased Harley! Did someone say 'midlife crisis' spending splurge?

Anyway, as the days went on I discovered that I have some creative ability, am a tiny bit tech savvy and wanted to share my resourcefulness with other dedicated teachers.

Wherever you are, teachers across the world require more time to look after themselves, simple and quick access to digital documents and gentle reminders of how we need to work smarter and not harder.

So the birth of SB Classroom Solutions arrived!

It came about as I wanted to create documents and resources which are simple to print, satisfying your need to gain more time and inspire you to continue to work in the most important profession in the world!

The main goal of my products and services is to ensure they are affordable and uncomplicated. That you can get instant access and enjoy using them in a way that I would.

It is my vision to inspire teachers and help solve any problems that you may encounter in your teaching journey.

Ultimately, providing simple solutions for busy teachers is what I aim to do.

And now... this blog! I just can't get enough of the world wide web, ecommerce and sharing tips and knowledge with others.
